Ivan G. Smith Elementary School | Danvers, MA

The Ivan G. Smith school design has a large entry with a hallway that connects the cafeteria, arts, music, and gymnasium in a central hub for students to navigate between auxiliary education spaces.

The project called for some color to be added to the space in the form of a wall graphic. I believed a naturally transitioning design from music to art along with rainbow colors would bring a welcome variety of color to the location as well as provided a cohesive indicator of the creative spaces.

I illustrated and laid out linotype style musical instruments and art utensils, and developed the design using the Adobe Creative Suite.
