The Saugus Belmonte ES (now STEAM Academy) is a brutalist concrete design that was renovated to bring in color, energy, and excitement for the students who attend. In desperate need of code updates, the environment needed updating as well. A three-story stairwell anchors the school with a tall elevator shaft.
I was tasked with designing a wrap-around graphic for this elevator shaft, wayfinding painted signage, window decals for the science wing and media center, and dimensional lettering for the interior and exterior of the building.
